Edmond L. Bridant was born in England and studied at the Bromley College of Art in London before moving to the United States. He holds degrees in the Physical Sciences and Art.  His photographs are housed in private collections in England, Western Europe and the United States, and were included in the Reidesheim Internationale Salon des Photographies 2001.

Between August 2000 and June 2001 Ed lived in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he joined the Edinburgh Photographic Society. Over the course of the year he produced approximately 1,000 images in conventional, infra-red, and digital photography.  The work reflects his experiences in the city of Edinburgh as well as Scotland, England and France. 

Bridant continues to explore the possibilities of combining digital and traditional darkroom processes.  He  also works in three-dimensional art, and has designed and built theatrical sets.
